I fervently believe that moving forward, Malaysia's economic potential and future would be greatly enhanced via strategic partnerships with emerging trade blocs like not only BRICS but also MERCOSUR, GCC and of course ASEAN instead of "stale and politically" slanted agreements like the TPPA.

Concurrently, existing co-operation mechanism(s) like the FTA (e.g.Turkey), D8, OIC and the likes should be further enhanced.
